Once upon a time, a ruler from a distant land disguised himself as a commoner #12
Once upon a time, a ruler from a distant land disguised himself as a commoner and ventured into a village to see how the locals lived and to find a bride. He was charmed by three young women and invited them to his palace, announcing that the ruler was seeking someone to share his throne. Two of the women arrived dressed in their finest attire, but the third never showed up. The next day, he visited the village again, found out where she lived, and went to her home. She lived in the poorest house, surrounded by a large family. The ruler asked why she didn’t come to the palace and why she refused the chance to become wealthy and his wife. She replied that family, love, honor, and happiness cannot be bought at any price. So, my friends, let’s raise a glass to the families that support us, to being loved for who we are, not what we earn, and to happiness filling every home. May our honor always remain unquestioned!
