Birthday Toasts for Mom #8

In a quaint mountain town, there was an old, renowned winemaker, known far and wide. As he lay on his deathbed, his sons, now grown and seasoned in the craft, gathered around him. They asked, “Father, we’ve spent our lives making wine like you, learning many secrets of the trade, but none of our wines match yours. What is your secret?” The old man, with his final breaths, replied, “Throughout my life, I lived with joy, savoring wine and celebrating life, while your mother patiently waited, enduring and shedding tears for my return. Her tears were the secret ingredient that gave my wine its unique flavor!” So let us raise a glass and toast to never having to pay such a price for even the finest wine. Here’s to you, Mom!
